BASIC ARCHERY COURSE
The Basic Archery Course (BAC) usually begins the second Saturday of the month and runs for three weeks.

The BAC provides students with a more detailed knowledge of Archery. To become a member of the club you need to complete the BAC.
The course runs 10.45am to 12.15pm, and costs $100.00, including hire of all equipment.
To join the BAC you must have completed a Come and Try session.
Please arrive 15 minutes earlier for Registration. You must book online for this course.
We teach in small groups, with a low student to instructor ratio, to give you the best experience we can.
You will be supervised at all times under the control of an Instructor and Range Officer.
You will be taught the basic steps of archery in more detail.
Week 1 After a brief safety recap you will work on refining the shooting technique you were introduced to in Come and Try.
Week 2 Will see the introduction of Sights. You will taught to setup and adjust the bow correctly.
Week 3 The focus will be teaching scoring and competition etiquette. This gives you the necessary skills to shoot in club events and eventually compete in tournaments.
At the completion of the course you will receive a Certificate of Completion
You will then qualify to be a member of Frankston Archery Club Inc.
Numbers for the courses are limited, and bookings are essential,.
Bookings for our next BAC can be found on our Bookings page.
